Lost+Found - Product Recall of Cans Only

Its with heavy hearts that we have to write this, but as a brewery with a no compromise approach to product quality and one that values each and every glass that you guys pour, we are sorry to announce the following…

Despite the rigorous quality control measures we employed at the brewery it has come to our attention over the weekend that some of our canned product has fallen short of the usual high standards both we and you guys expect. As a result we have decided to take no chances and recall all of the canned product that could potentially be affected, as this is the only way to ensure that no more of this beer finds its way into the world. 

We understand that this will have caused some of you an inconvenience and we sincerely apologise for that. As a result we have already started contacting all involved with the offer of a re-issue or credit for the beer you have received. We have also made provisions for the return of any outstanding product by courier back to the brewery to eliminate any confusion when choosing a Lost+Found beer in the future.

We are really sorry to have to do this, especially as we have a whole load of great fans out that that have supported us through continual commitment in buying and championing our beers. We can assure you that this product is entirely safe to drink. The reason for the recall is that some of the beer in these batches does not meet the high standards we set at the brewery.

Please bear with us as we do all we can to put this right. If it is any consolation, we have identified  and remedied the problem within the packaging process, so going forward we are confident that this issue has been eliminated.

The products involved in this recall are in can only and are as follow:

DIPA R2 / Octonomy. 440ml - 8% - GYLE No 4404

SIPA R3.5 / Hold It Down. 440ml - 4.6% - GYLE No. 4406

APA / Fomo-saic. 440ml - 5.2% - GYLE No. 4409

IPA 2.5 / C-The Man Go. 5.6% - GYLE No. 4410
